OmniForge is designed for private local document and recording workflows. Files and transcripts you add to the desktop app are processed for your local workspace.
Local workspace content
Your workspace can include:
- Documents you add.
- Audio recordings.
- Transcripts.
- Assistant conversation history.
Documents, recordings, transcripts, prompts and Assistant answers are processed on your computer. Local AI processing does not upload that content to an outside AI service.
Online services
Every plan requires an account. Sign-in, billing, model downloads and app updates use online services. Complete setup and check your account state before an offline session.
Optional diagnostics
If you opt in, anonymous diagnostics and usage telemetry send limited, allowlisted metadata. They exclude prompts, answers, transcripts, documents, file names, paths, account details and raw error logs. Local content processing does not mean that the app never makes a network request.
Practical privacy habit
Use separate workspaces for sensitive projects and avoid adding files that do not belong in that workspace.
