Transcript cleanup helps the Assistant retrieve better evidence. You do not need to rewrite everything, but important names and decisions should be clear.
Review the session
- Open Transcription.
- Select a completed session.
- Read the beginning, key decisions, and any sections with names or dates.
- Rename the session if the title is unclear.

Polish when useful
Use polishing when you want a cleaner version for reading or indexing. Keep the original meaning intact.
Good candidates for polishing:
- Meeting summaries.
- Dictated notes.
- Interviews with repeated filler words.
- Transcripts with important decisions.
Preserve evidence
Do not edit a transcript in a way that changes what was said unless you clearly mark your own notes.
